The group prepared the food at Moss Playground, Torresdale and Cheltenham avenues, before transporting it to Center City.

The Block Gives Back will spend December moving into its new headquarters at 6831 Torresdale Ave. and preparing for its end-of-year event on Dec. 21. That day, they will return to 16th and JFK to feed the needy and distribute tote bags filled with everyday essentials and winter necessities.
